Eight Cool Beauty Tips From Eva
Eight Cool Beauty Tips To Try Now!!
These tips are hot off the press from Eva’s new book “Eva Scrivo on Beauty”.
Come and get em while they’re still fresh!
1)To create a smooth surface for your lipstick use a natural lip balm after exfoliating your lips with a soft bristle toothbrush. I personally love Alba Un-petroleum lip balm in tangerine. It is natural, smells sooo delicious (not overpowering) and has an SPF of18. http://albabotanica.com/
2) When wearing red lipstick, tone down on the blush, and choose a warm apricot or peach for your cheeks. Also, cut down on smoky eye drama. The focus is the lips. Apply your blush as a last step in makeup application, as it is an accent to the rest of the makeup applied to your face.
3) For a smooth and natural looking self tan, exfoliate, shave (use a good men’s shaver), and moisturize to help the tanner go on easily without it getting unevenly absorbed into the skin.
4) To get those super long and luscious lashes, use two different types of mascaras-thickening formula, followed immediately with lengthening mascara. This instantly gives you the best of both worlds. Work on one eye at a time, and do not let it dry between applications. Complete the look by combing and blending mascara with a lash comb.
5) To cover up pimples, a stick concealer should be applied since it will stay put. It should be applied only using a synthetic brush since using your finger will just make a big white splotch around the blemish.
6) To banish dark under eye circles, Eva says to try using an eye cream with rosemary in it. Also do inverted yoga poses that help get blood flowing, and flush out some of the discoloration.
7) For defined and full looking eyebrows use a sharp brow pencil that is a shade lighter than your brow color-working with short feathery strokes. Next, blend with an eyebrow brush to soften the lines, and dust on translucent powder to soften the look,
8) Self confidence and a healthy, happy mindset combined with a great posture can be much more beautiful than the most perfectly applied cosmetics. Remember to smile and think positive thoughts.

In reference to #5, I challenge you to find a concealer that will cover up my pimples, the likes of which you've never seen before ;-)
ReplyDeleteAnd I totally agree with #8. I can attest to it myself.
Hmmmm. I'll have to see what I can dig up for those pimples of yours. Sounds horrendous!! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, in regards to #8, as long as you smile, noone will even notice your pimples, only your glowing self confidence!
